Ed Vilade is a stylish writer accustomed to producing hard-hitting, entertaining and -- above all -- effective speeches for high-level clients. Strategic Communications Consultant

Ed has planned and executed communications campaigns, from community to national scale, for public and private organizations. He helped to develop the public affairs function for the U.S. Department of Energy while a member of the White House Energy Policy and Planning Task Force. An expert in crisis communications, Ed wrote the U.S. government communications plans for use in oil embargoes, and gasoline rationing during the oil crises of the 1970s. He also headed communications task forces during a coal strike, natural gas shortage, oil shortages and Three Mile Island emergency. He is a skilled auditor and analyst of corporate communications function who among other achievements wrote the initial report for the nuclear energy industry that led to realignment of nuclear trade associations and public information campaigns.
